About Me

Hello, I’m Alejandra, a bilingual (English–Spanish) Psychological Counsellor. I’m originally from Mexico City and spent half of my life in Canada, where I studied Psychology and Yoga. My studies and life path later brought me to Europe, shaping a truly multicultural perspective that informs my work.

Having lived in different parts of the world, I understand how change, transition, and the pace of modern life can feel both exciting and overwhelming. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I bring deep empathy and careful attention to emotional nuance, often noticing what is unspoken. This allows me to create a thoughtful, safe, and attuned therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.

I offer guidance as you navigate life’s complexities, helping you build deeper self-understanding, resilience, and connection. I’m not here to fix you but to help you in your journey of being YOU.

I believe that every person is unique, and therefore therapy should be shaped to meet each individual’s needs. My approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Gestalt therapy alongside training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Developmental Psychology, and Mindfulness.

Gestalt therapy is a humanistic, present-focused approach that emphasizes awareness of the “here and now” and explores how past coping patterns continue to influence current experiences; some of which may no longer serve us.

Central to my work is an “I–Thou” relationship, meaning a genuine, transparent, and collaborative therapeutic connection rather than one based on analysis or diagnosis. My approach is rooted in empathy and empowerment. I am not here to fix anyone, but to support and guide each person toward their own version of growth and well-being.

Mindfulness practices further support this work by cultivating awareness, reducing stress, and encouraging a compassionate, non-reactive way of relating to life’s challenges. Together, this integrative approach allows us to work thoughtfully and creatively with concerns such as anxiety, stress, interpersonal difficulties, confidence, and self-awareness, while developing meaningful insights and practical tools that can be applied beyond the therapy room.
